8 to Infinity started out as a SOHO, Small Office Home Office with one person in 1997. It started out in the university CAD/CAM Centre of our founder. We first started reselling of web hosting accounts and later graduated to selling of our own web hosting services. Our first servers were in the USA but as demands for Singapore Web Hosting began to increase, we had our servers in Singapore.
We remembered having our first servers in Singapore which were known as “Mercedes” at that time because of how expensive and rare they were. Our company did not have any funding, we earned from our initial reseller hosting accounts and began our organic growth slowly. When we saved up enough money for the hardware and software licenses we added new servers. From a single server in Singapore we now maintain hundreds of servers in four datacentres in Singapore serving customers all over the world.
Since 1997, from basic Linux and Unix web hosting, we enlarged our skill sets to provide comprehensive managed solutions to our customers be there Linux, UNIX or Windows servers. Our company also manage the common applications for instance, Email Servers, Content Management Servers, Web Servers as well as customized application servers for our customers.
Our main focus is providing managed solutions for customers who outsource their entire application hosting to us. Nothing is too unique or unusual for us. Our portfolio range from normal unmanaged server hosting to dedicated managed hosting running customized solutions for our customers.
